Rodolfo "Rudy" Ruiz, 51, of Raleigh, NC, formerly of Arizona, passed away on December 12, 2024. Rudy was a spirited soul known for his enduring silly sense of humor.

Born on July 8, 1973, in Mesa, AZ, Rudy was a talented hairdresser who brought joy and style to his clients. As a compassionate advocate for senior rescue dogs, he gave love and care to animals who needed it most.

Rudy is survived by his husband, Dennis Seavers; his parents, Jesus and Virginia Ruiz; his brother, Richard Ruiz; his sister, Regina Brizuela; his parents-in-law, Larry and Kathy Seavers; and his brother-in-law, Danny Seavers. He was also deeply cherished by many close friends.

Rudy's life was a testament to kindness, humor, and love. His legacy lives on in the laughter he shared and the lives he touched.

A memorial service to celebrate Rudy's life will be held on Friday, December 27th, from 9:00am – 11:00am, at San Tan Mountain Funeral Home – 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd., Queen Creek, AZ 85142. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Rudy's honor to a dog rescue organization of your choice.
