Ramon "Monchi" H. Escalante Jr, 83, passed away peacefully at his home on February 15, 2020.

Monchi was born in Queen Creek, AZ on January 22, 1937.  Although he lived much of his life in Tucson, for the last 30 years he has called Queen Creek his home.

Monchi was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Angelita Escalante; his sisters, Angelita Sosa and Francisca Aldecoa; and his brother, Frank Galindo.  He will be forever remembered by his nieces, nephews and extended family members. ​

Funeral services for Monchi will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 24, 2020, at San Tan Mountain View Funeral Home – 21809 S. Ellsworth Rd. Queen Creek, AZ 85142.  Interment to follow at San Tan Memorial Gardens at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek.
