Judy Ka gel of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at the age of 79. Judy was a beloved mother, daughter, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all those she held most dear.

Judy was born in Elgin, Illinois, on September 8, 1945, to Hank and Marie Koppers. She married Gary Kagel in 1965. After his passing in 1977, Judy moved her 3 children and settled in Mesa. She worked hard for over 30 years selling real estate and driving a school bus before retiring in 2016.

Judy's warmth, generosity, and deep commitment to her family and loved ones will forever leave a mark on all who knew her. Her legacy is one of love, kindness and selflessness, cherished by those she touched throughout her life.

Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle, and is survived by her children, Mike and Karrie; two son in laws; Jeff and Mike; along with four grandchildren, Tyler, Tanner, Taylor, Madysen and six great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother Pete, nieces, nephews and great friends.

Rest in peace our sweet Mama…..until we meet again.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Tempe. 2121 S Rural Rd, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at 11:00am.
