It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Heather Marie Ortiz Lent, at the age of 46, passed away surrounded by her family, on Monday, December 4th, 2023, at her home in Queen Creek. She was born to Simon and Frances Ortiz on August 12, 1977, in Phoenix, Arizona. Heather was a loving mother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend that fought a fierce battle against colon cancer for the past 7 months.

Heather graduated from Corona Del Sol in 1995, and from Arizona State University in 2000 with a degree in Business and Criminal Justice. She was a proud alumnus of Kappa Delta Chi, Lambda Chapter, Zeta Class. Her unwavering commitment to her alma mater will forever be remembered.

Heather is survived by her loving husband, Noel, along with her 3 sons; Angel, Wyatt, and Benjamin; her father, Simon, and mother, Frances; brother's Steven (Stephanie), Gabriel (Laura); sister, Lisa, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family, and her friends. She was always strong, and she never showed more strength than when battling cancer. Heather will be eternally remembered.

Heathers steadfast love, devotion, and faith will endlessly live in our all of hearts.
